Used a piece of paper to make a template, cut it out with a coping saw and sanded edges then heated in oven and laid it over the stock to shape it. Tape and foam for a riser.When properly adjusted the cheek riser you should be looking directly into the center of the scope, without the need to move head up or down. Without a cheekpiece, you your neck muscles get tired soon, you look into the scope differently every time and every shot goes to a different place.
