Hello I'm relatively new to the game and just ding'd 60. Currently using a 1h mace wich is strengh weapon and authority build. I'm also trying to figure out wich armor would be the best for my weapon/armor set and saw that hykrarian slaver armor set gives %follower dmg AND %concussive dmg so question:Any heavy armor. It makes things easier. Now, speaking of "best" armor. If you want to get maximum +Str, you can mix and match armors. Get Executioner's Hood (or God-Eye), Champion's Chestguard, Godbreaker Grips, Champion's Leggings, Hyperborian Slaver Boots. You get +13 Strength if I'm not mistaken. In 3.0 it depends on your character build. There is no longer “a best weapon” like there was in 2.8 and prior. for pve, 2hand swords,katanas,2 hand maces, and 1hand axe imo.There's a lot of really good PvE options. None of them are the best in all circumstances. I'd say the only ones to avoid would be spear, one hand mace, and the new greataxe. Everything else has strong use cases.
